This article reports the findings of an assessment that sought to determine the University of Ghana School of Public Health’s capacity for Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR), as well as its capacity strengthening needs in relation to HPSR. This assessment formed part of a series of assessments conducted by CHEPSAA’s partner organisations.
From a teaching perspective, the assessment describes the HPSR-relevant teaching offered at the University of Ghana, the staff members involved in supporting HPSR and some of their responsibilities, as well as the range of HPSR-related projects in the university.
