Global Mapping of Health Policy and Systems Research Training
This document reports the findings of a global study that sought to map current Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR)-focused teaching and training programmes relevant to low- and middle-income countries. The study, conducted through the Thematic Working Group on Teaching and Learning HPSR of Health Systems Global, used an online survey, as well as in-depth interviews with key informants.
The report’s key themes include the geographic distribution of HPSR courses, course delivery formats, teaching activities used, the academic disciplines involved in teaching HPSR, challenges in teaching HPSR and opportunities for increasing HPSR capacity.
